I guess not many guys choose here as their permanent home city, just migrating here for working several years.After more than one year work and living in this city, honestly, I still dont enjoy here. And moved to calgary a year ago. it's a much better place for work,  compare to QC. expecially your major is computer science. Although the market went down a little bit. I think it's still the best in Canada. but the weather is worse than QC. so i think it is a good idea to move here after March.
